Unless otherwise agreed, these terms and conditions apply to all orders entered into with Century Design.

  1. Contract
  • 1.1 When you are placing an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods.
  • 1.2 As a buyer, you assume responsibility for the goods being suitable for the purpose for which they are being purchased.
  • 1.3 English law covers this contract.
  • 1.4 By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms.
  • 1.5 Force Majeure – Century Design shall not be liable for any delay or other failure to perform the whole or any part of the contract caused by factors outside the company’s control.


  1. Prices and Availability
  • 2.1 Prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate. A VAT invoice will be provided via delivery, email or post.  Prices may be subject to change.
  • 2.2 All goods displayed in our brochures, marketing material and on our website are subject to availability. If the goods you require are out of stock or are no longer available we may suggest alternatives.


  1. Orders
  • 3.1 Orders can be placed in person during a consultancy visit, by email to info@centurydesign.co.uk or by telephone, number 0151 236 2100
  • 3.2 By placing an order with us you agree to accept these terms.


  1. Payment
  • 4.1 Upon receipt of an order a deposit of 50% of the total order is required. We will require the balance of the total order including delivery costs, if applicable, before despatching your order.
  • 4.2 Payment can be made by debit or credit card, cheque or bank transfer. Goods paid for by cheque will be despatched as soon as the funds are clear in our account.


  1. Delivery and Returns
  • 5.1 Estimated delivery lead-time is given at the time of order. We will not be liable if the delivery period or dates are not met for any reason whatsoever.
  • 5.2 Goods are to be inspected immediately upon receipt and any damage or discrepancies should be brought to our attention within 48 hours. After this period has passed the condition of the goods shall be deemed to be in all respects in accordance with the contract and the buyer shall be bound to accept and pay for the same accordingly.
  • 5.3 Delivery may be in instalments.


  1. Retention of Title
  • 6.1 All delivered goods remain the property of Century Design until full payment has been received.


  1. Cancellation
  • 7.1 In the event that the goods are no longer available we will advise you with an alternative option. Should you not wish to order the alternative option you have a right to cancel the order for the goods that are no longer available.
  • 7.2 Orders may not be cancelled except with our mutual agreement.
  • 7.3 If it is your choice to cancel an order prior to delivery, and through no fault of Century Design, then any deposit paid may not be refunded.


  1. Reservations
  • 8.1 Prices, measurements and texts contained in the company brochure, price lists and other marketing material are subject to printing errors.
  • 8.2 Pricing, images, descriptions and measurements contained in the company website may be subject to error.
  • 8.3 Every effort has been made to display colours of the products shown on our website as accurately as possible. However we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.
